Perhaps this is one of the keystones of KM. Tap into an record the “conventional wisdom” to leverage. But this article points out the catch, what if it's wrong. Also I think the conventional wisdom capture, while it might be the most important information to capture, is the hardest to capture. Who wants to write down what “everybody knows”. This is also the information that employeers fear they will lose when people depart. No easy solutions here, but certainly food for thought.
