Maximize Your Web Exposure
Nice, short article with good points about marketing. I think the point later in the article about being able try new and innovative technologies (they use blogs and live chat on your site) is a double edged sword. True, smaller companies can try these pretty easily without internal read tape, but they also are on their own, usually, for support. So if something goes wonky, there could be headaches ahead.
That being said I think blogs and live chat on your website are a couple of things worth investigating for anysite. Blogs can add a nice, personal touch to a sight. They can add a little local colour for say a small boutique, B&B or resturant.
And blogs can bring more traffic to your site as new content should be added frequently, visitors may start the process of building a relationship with you.
