I haven't used LimeWire, but what I think is more interesting is the explicit statement that there is no SpyWare. Pluck (from yesterday) made the same promise (no Spyware, no Adware). Obviously companies are seeing the backlash against this practice. Personally I think it is a good thing, but I think it will also mean fewer pieces of purely free software and more that is ad supported in some manner.
