Common Craft – Online Community Strategies: Wikis Described in Plain English

It seems that many relatively “old” technologies have reached ciritical mass of late to start making news beyond early adopters. Remarkable that it has been below the RADAR for so long, but in the last few months I've started seeing references to it in the popular press. In fact earilier this week eWeek kept publishing online by using a wiki enabled site to upload content while NYC was having a none to small Internet problem (theives stealing NICs out of Verizon).

Common Craft – Online Community Strategies: Wikis Described in Plain English: “You may have seen the word ?wiki? used to describe a website used by a group to collaborate. My intent with this post is to describe wikis and the basics of how they work- in plain English.”
