If there has been one constant in my life it has be photography. I started at 8 or 9 with a Polaroid One Step (and let me tell you $10 was a lot of money to spend for 10 shots) and have moved all the way up to DSLRs. Now I’m available to take pictures for you.
While I love nature photography and even things that are more experimental, I love to take pictures of events and people most of all. It was taking pictures at parties as a kid where I learned how to capture a moment. The look, glance, smile, laugh. A person deep in thought.
It’s these things that make for compelling memories.
Sure, people take lots of pictures at events, but do they capture more than their friends? Do they get every speaker at every session? Do they keep taking pictures during the whole party? How long before are the pictures available online and even then, can you even use them?
When you hire a professional photographer for your event or conference, you don’t have to worry about any of those things. I cover the entire conference, take pictures of everyone, be at the parties but not the life of them. When all is said and done, I’ll deliver to you a DVD of the final pictures (original RAW and retouched JPEGs). All pictures culled and retouched for you so you get quality pictures, not just a dump from my camera. You get to pick your favourites, and have the rights to use them however you need to.
When was the last time you had to submit a bio for a conference or site and hated all of your headshots? You search for hours finding a decent picture of yourself and still don’t really like what you have. Let me take headshots for you.
Whether a posed shoot or informal pictures, my pictures have become avatars and profile pictures around the Internet (and even on a Jones Soda bottle!). I want to capture you. I want you to look at the final pictures and have trouble deciding which one you like the most. Depending on your needs I can provide a series of poses or just a standard corporate headshot. Just like event and conference photography, I’ll give you a DVD with the original files (RAW and high resolution JPEG) I’ll even take your favourite shot and crop it square to use as an avatar (I love seeing pictures I’ve taken as avatars).
