I started View from the Isle in April 2004 as an outlet for my passion for all manner of Internet technologies and gadgets and now it has become an outlet for my passion to communicate with others. Since then I have been immersed in all facets of social media developing a following in the blogosphere and frequently speaking at tech conferences in the US and Canada.

I started building websites over ten years ago when the web was young and went onto launch the eBusiness capabilities of both Glaxo Wellcome U.S. and Canada. It was during this time that I developed my interest and background in collaboration, KM, IM, and related Internet technologies. This interest and passion for helping people work better together online is what keeps View from the Isle churning day after day.

I was the first professional blogger for Inside Blogging and a founding member of the Professional Bloggers Association and was elected Secretary in January 2005 I have blogged for various clients on topics from processors to private jets.? And yes, I still read and subscribe to hundreds of RSS feeds.

I have 30 years of photography experience and have a large portfolio of both portrait work and conference/event photography.
