WordCamp Vancouver 2010 Presentation: WordPress 3.0 & Parent-Child Themes

Catherine and I just finished our talk at WordCamp Vancouver on WordPress 3.0 with a few touches into custom post types, custom taxonomies, and parent-child themes with Twenty Ten (you can still read about and download my child theme Twenty Ten dot Five). Far and away the most ooohs and ahhs came from the WordPress Menus demo.

I put our slides on SlideShare for all to enjoy and you to read here…

Thanks Tris, I was away and missed WordCamp so appreciate you sharing this. I’m finally playing around with WordPress (having your most excellent book as a primer helps!) and certainly needed those WordCamp sessions, but there’s always next year.
