I use Newsreader app for iPhone for my RSS, and the partial-feeds irritate the crap out of me – I don’t want to have to leave the reader to see if I want the rest of the article!

Hey Robert,
I agree that Twitter has a lot of potential for info gathering, and I get a lot out of it, I just haven’t found a good way to pull the wheat from the chaff.
The breadth that I get from RSS is essential as well.

I think the evolution of our data streams will get to a point where we can get information from both seamlessly.

For mobile RSS readers , still I think there are good ones, it’s just the interface that might be problematic for you.

I’ve heard that Tweetie is great, right now TweetDeck and ÜberTwitter are my tools of choice (for Twitter) and NetNewsWire on my MBP.

I use Tweetie. I gotta tell you, I have 16,000+ people and feeds aimed at me. I don’t agree with you on the breadth anymore. I used to. Not anymore.

I don’t miss my older reader anymore. It’s slow, bloated, and outdated and Twitter brings me the same feeds, albeit faster.
