This is way overdue, but thank you for mentioning Clarity Accounting.  I remembered how you thought it would be a good idea to do a Freshbooks integration.  We have recently completed the first version of our API and we are in the process of doing a Freshbooks integration.  The Quickbooks integration will most likely start in the new year.  :)
