This evening I got to meet the four guys behind TheBuriedLife.com. It was a lucky thing. Josh McKenty asked me to help them get ready for their road-trip tour with the social media tools, tricks and tips for the journey. See they are have made up a list of the 100 things they?d like to do before they die. From the mundane to the probably not going to happen. Last summer they started the process of ticking items off the list touring around in an old camper.
Right now you?re probably thinking that this is just an excuse to for four guys in their late teens and twenties to go on a summer roadtrip. That?s what I thought too. That is until I had the opportunity to sit and listen to them.
You see they aren?t just out to tick items off their list, they want to help people tick off items on their lists too.

Dave, Duncan, Ben, and Jonnie (btw I know Duncan and Jonnie?s aunt who lives on Salt Spring Island) are amazing, passionate, and articulate young men. I was due to be on Robert Sanazlone?s PacificIT Radio?something I had forgotten when I went to downtown Victoria to help these guys with their blogging?and I thought it would be a great introduction into social media by tossing these guys in pretty much head first.
On Robert?s show these guys just floored me with their passion for helping others. The rest of the evening I helped these guys get their social media feet.
They are setting out Tuesday on their summer tour in an old, purple transit bus heading to Burning Man first.
We should be seeing and hearing a lot from these guys in the next little while.
So ? as the social networking networking portion of the website asks ? What five things do you want to do before you die?
