Well moving day is set for Thursday and what would my life bee without a little drama. Here's the situation. I'm coming over to Victoria Wednesday morning with a load of stuff in my car to get my keys and sign the lease. Then I go and pick up the truck from UHaul (yes, I know they suck, but they are the game in town) then dash back to Pender and load like a crazy person. I'm going to try and leave as early as I can on Thursday (the 9.30 AM would be great, but it might not work) and start unloading. I only have three pieces of furniture that I need help with (actually right now I only have three pieces of furniture), but thing is that that weekend (May 3-6) is my weekend with the kids. So I have the added pressure of trying to catch the 1 to Salt Spring (best) or at least the 3.
If anyone could help me unload that would be great. I can't promise pizza and beer this time … but I can promise homemade pizza (baked on a pizza stone no less) and beer the week after (once I get settled a bit). Assuming (hoping) Shaw can get my cable and such hooked up, I should have WiFi so we could even have it as a live party on Ustream.tv.
