Attensa for Outlook 2.0 raises the bar

Few months ago (July, actually) I started to try the "beta" of Attensa for Outlook 1.5.? The River of News feature changed how I read news.? I can skim fast, flag, click, and move on.? I was a skeptic of an Outlook-based RSS reader.? My Outlook gets jammed up with enough e-mail to then further clutter is with RSS, but Attensa handles that by auto-deleting articles.

Well, Attensa 1.5 is no more.? Gone, toast.? Am I sad?? Nope because Attensa 2.0 was just released!? The folks at Attensa decided to just skip 1.5 and roll up a bunch of recommended features (I saw one of mine) into a spiffy 2.0 release.

I haven't had a chance to try it yet, but the build-in player for podcasts, etc seems really, really cool.

Best of all … it's free!? Yep, free.? If you want support, beyond the basics, I assume, you have to pay for that.? Seems fair to me.
