Update: My fault.? I had set the Skype toolbar for Outlook to set my status as away during a meeting.? Well I had booked a meeting from 9-10:30 … but it only lasted 30 mins.? You can see where this is going.? Sigh.
Skype seems to think I'm "Away" even though I keep telling it over and over I'm "Available".? I've changed my password, I've re-installed Skype.? So .. if you're wondering if I'm there or not … well GTalk, MSN, AOL, or Y! would be better bets.
On that note, armed with a Blackberry now (yeah I know … but I'm on the road … or the boat … a lot and I need to stay in touch.? Plus I can safely go to the park with my kids and still be in touch), I have GTalk on my Blackberry, which is proving to be very helpful.
If anyone has any insight into this rather annoying behaviour Skype has picked up … do share.? In the meantime if you use GTalk … my address is to your right, no your other right
